I am a 8 year experienced electrician with a RW license. The ultimate bag system is light as can be and definitely thought out with electrical work in mind. There's plenty of pockets for individual tools on the right handed side
While the left pouch has plenty of division for parts and material. Also it has other convenient storage for bits, phone, etc in the Velcro pocket.
I bought this system not only to upgrade my tool bags but to have a set of suspenders too. They initially feel great and hold up the weight of bags with a load. The belt is ultra comfy. Not as bulky as it may appear and super beneficial to weight distribution.
My complaints are as follows. I got to try on a belt in store and I was between a medium and large belt at a pant size 33. The leather belt would never work as it's not as adjustable. They only had leather so I didn't get to try the nylon buckle but guessed it would be more adjustable. And it was more adjustable but still the belt in large doesn't fit tightly and the medium would never fit.
The suspenders feel great but the edge rubs my neck raw when wearing a t shirt. So I prefer to have a collar or sweater on if possible.
The pockets are great and are plenty to hold the usual items an electrician would hold. But I wonder why the internal pockets towards the front are closed at the bottom. I would prefer to have those open for the various screwdrivers I use. Still there are two on the outside that are sized perfect for easy grabbing and two or so more inside the back of the pouch. I just would have swapped the open ones to front and the closed ones to the back half.
Overall I totally satisfied with my purchase and believe these will last me the rest of my career.
Have used Klein, Milwaukee and Rac a Teirs, Boulder bag is the industry best!
Wish I would’ve bought em sooner
